This is just a get together for all board chairpersons of affiliates that have one or more employees or are planning to hire one within the next year.
Note: This is just a meet up, we have no agenda. There are a lot of topics with regards to the Wikimedia Strategy, future of the movement summit and funds distribution but there are so many other discussions going on at Wikimania that we decided that we just wanted to have the chance to meet up with other chairs. I will be there along with other chairs and if you have questions with which we may be able to help, that is what we will reserve time for! Even if we just make connections that is a very worthwhile outcome if you want to continue specific conversations in the future.

Jan-Bart de Vreede has been involved with the Wikimedia movement since 2006. He is a CapX Advisory Committee member, Chair of Wikimedia Nederland and co-host of the quarterly “Wikimedia Europe & Friends” conference call. He served on the Wikimedia Board of Trustees in what was arguably a simpler time and has still managed to make his fair share of mistakes. At Wikimania he is excited for meeting old friends and being involved in the Let's Connect sessions :)
