In 2009, alongside Hong Phuc Dang, he founded FOSSASIA, an organisation dedicated to improving lives through the dissemination of open technologies, knowledge, and resources. FOSSASIA, under his guidance, has spearheaded several software projects, including the event management solution eventyay.com and SUSI.AI, as well as open hardware projects like the Pocket Science Lab IoT platform, and the Badge Magic.
