Wiki For Boxing, a new initiative under Wiki Soccer introduced in Uganda this year, aims to document boxing activities from the early 1960s. As boxing was the first sport after Uganda's independence in 1962, many key figures lacked a Wikipedia presence. This campaign has addressed the underrepresentation of Ugandan boxers, both professional and amateur, bridging the information gap. The project has not only improved documentation but also contributed to the rise of corporate boxing in Uganda.
